The creation of the film "Khvalyur" in the style of magical realism was inspired by the desire to convey the feelings of a soldier returning to life in a new environment. I wanted to show how he needs the forces of nature—such as a volcanic eruption or a crystallized stone on the ocean shore—to experience these metamorphoses, immersing himself in the processes of transformation and reincarnation to shed the weight of the past.

HVALÚR
The name "HVALUR" means whale, and this image was chosen deliberately. I wanted the soldier to be able to breathe as deeply and freely as a whale does, gaining new strength and liberation. This was the core idea of the film.
Next, I wanted to bring the entire idea to life in the form of a perfume bottle, with the liquid inside symbolizing the man himself and his process of becoming.
The bottle features two pumps, representing the union of two individuals—each conscious and self-sufficient. This design allows the fragrances to be used separately or blended together, creating a unique composition that reflects the interaction and interpenetration of two independent entities.
HVALÚR - TABULA RASA serie
Based on the theory of "tabula rasa," we wear paper, air, and sand, hiding our wartime experiences within shapes and textures, feeling as if we were nothing but the wind.
I used these elements to capture the essence of living through times of conflict, hiding our past in folds and layers, much like memories buried in the subconscious. As Jean-Jacques Rousseau once said, "Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains." Through this photoshoot, I sought to express how we carry the weight of history in our very being, feeling at times like nothing more than sand—shifting, moving, but ever-present.
I set out to explore the concept that our experiences, much like grains of sand, accumulate over time to shape who we are.
The paper represents the blank slate—untouched, pure, ready to be inscribed upon by the world. The air symbolizes the unseen forces, the invisible hands of fate and experience that shape our lives. And the sand, with its countless grains, represents the moments of our existence, each one a small but significant part of the whole.

SALMON/LAX event concept is dedicated to hosting a fashion show with a focus on the protection of wild salmon and drawing attention to melting glaciers.
Such a theme can benefit LOEWE as a fashion brand by aligning its image with environmental consciousness and sustainability, highlighting the brand's commitment to critical ecological issues.
